Hola! (hello in Spanish) There are about 2+months more to our Nationals A'div tournament 2010. I hope everyone has set a goal for themselves and for the team - something you want to achieve before and after the tournament. With a direction in mind, we will be able to work better so as to achieve what we want. We will be more willing to commit ourselves into floorball, to devote quality time and effort to get what we desire. Everyone sure has different goals, hence lets all set the highest one to be : Top 4 in A'div Nationals 2010. I would like to see team-motivated players - team before self. This is a rather selfish request, but it's just for this period. Hang on there as we fight till the end of our last match. The honour we will get, the effort we put in for months, the time the coach, the teachers and our teammates have invested - are the motivations to keep us going, pushing us to greater heights. We cant stop now. We're all on the momentum into the A'div season, since last yr's season ended. Reflect/think back: How did I do during last yr's A'div? What have I been doing to improve myself? Has/have the team/I been encouraging and supporting another? What have the team/ I been doing during trainings? How has Coach/teacher helped us to improve the overall standard of the teams? How is the progress of each individual in the team? Think: What's my strengths and weakness(es)? How can I eradicate the weakness(es)? Do I know the strengths and weakness(es) of every player? How can I help my teammates? What do I want to achieve by every next training and how? Why are the teachers and Coach pressing us to train up certain/specific skills? In what ways can we surpass the majority Adiv floorball teams to obtain the highest honour? A team is as strong as the weakest. Hence there's a stronger need to help one another to improve, by pointing out the mistakes and providing advices, remind one another etc...(list is non-exhaustive) Communication is the key. It would really be great to hear encouragements on court, for players and goalies. Emotional strength is another key. It's the mind game we gotta win first before we can perform at our top form to win the floorball game. To end off, I urge the team to participate actively in this blog by posting and commenting! (: Jaslin
